Matthew Lee
Matthew Lee is an active freelance artist in the Chicago area. He performs with the Chicago Brass Quintet, the Millar Brass Ensemble, the Illinois Philharmonic, extra with the Lyric Opera and Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and a variety of chamber music ensembles.
Holding a BA in Music Education from Western Illinois University and an MM in Performance from Northwestern University, he has studied with William DeJong, Vincent Cichowicz and Adolph Herseth. Mr. Lee teaches at Elmhurst College.
GRACE NOTES
Matthew is committed to teaching young musicians. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at the DePaul University School of Music and currently teaches at Elmhurst College.
